Shepherdbase 2007 New Update

Shepherdbase 2007 is the only one with the new update, Shepherdbase 2003 will not have this update right now. The Youth Camp Tuition/Concession Update will:

  • Track Youth Camp tuition and concession throughout the year specified and keep a running total for each.
  • Bring up a report of each members youth camp monies separated by tuition and/or concession, and you can pull up a report on just one member easily.
I needed Shepherdbase to track this for me because we have Youth Camp every year at our church, and we have certain members that will pay a little at a time throughout the year on their tuition and concession. At any given time, I will be able to pull report and email to our Youth Camp Administrator to give her totals of who has paid what on Youth Camp.

The Shepherdbase 2007 update is free - there is no extra charge. It will be on sale until the end of February 2010 for $29.99 Instant Download. My Shepherdbase 2007 customers who have purchased before this update can feel free to contact me if they would like to receive it. I can email the update ASAP - no charge.

Valentine's Day Chex Mix Recipe

Valentine Chex Mix

Red, white and pink make a lovely Chex Mix, especially when it's ready in just 30 minutes!

*Makes 22 Servings (1/2 cup each)

  • 9 Cups of Rice Chex Cereal
  • 1 Cup of White Vanilla Baking Chips
  • 1/2 Cup of Peanut Butter
  • 1/4 Cup of Butter or Margarine
  • 3/4 Cup of Powdered Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup of Red, White and Pink Candy-Coated Chocolate Candies
  • 1/4 Cup of Red or Pink Jimmies Sprinkles
1. Place cereal in large bowl. In small microwavable bowl, place microwave baking chips, peanut butter, and butter uncovered on High 1 minute to 1 minute 30 seconds, stirring every 30 seconds until melted and smooth. Pour peanut butter mixture over cereal, stirring until evenly coated.

2. Place a 1/2 cup of cereal mixture in one gallon food storage plastic bag. Add powdered sugar. Seal bag; shake until well-coated. Spread on waxed paper or foil to cool, about 15 minutes.

3. Meanwhile, stir candies and sprinkles into remaining cereal mixture. Spread on waxed paper or foil to cool, about 15 minutes.

4. In serving bowl, mix both cereal mixtures. Store in airtight container.

Nutrition Information: 1 Serving: Calories 200, Total Fat 10g, Cholesterol 5mg, Sodium 160mg, Total Carbohydrate 25g, Protein 3g.
