Give your mom the gift of Church and a delicious Brunch, all at the same time! Just plan this special event in your church for Mothers Day to invite the children, their moms and family, etc. You can even have the men of the church volunteer to fix this special Brunch for Mothers Day.
After the Brunch, you could even plan to take pictures of each mom with their children and later you could make a bookmark or even a small magnet to give to them at a later time.
Brunch recipes for Mothers Day
Strawberry Coolers - Drink
Ingredients:
- 2 Cups of Chilled Orange Juice
- 1 1/2 Cups of Hulled Strawberries
- 1 Tablespoon of Sugar, or to taste
- 1 1/2 Cups of Chilled Ginger Ale
Directions:
1. Combine orange juice, strawberries, and sugar in a blender; blend until the berries are pureed.
2. Place the berries puree in a large pitcher. Add Ginger Ale; stir to combine. Serve over ice
Serves: 4
Total Prep Time: 10 Minutes
Citrus Salad with Honey & Mint
Ingredients:
- 1 Grapefruit
- 1 Navel Orange
- 2 Teaspoons of Honey
- 4 Small Sprigs of Fresh Mint
Directions:
1. With a knife, but away the peel and white pith of the grapefruit and orange and slice the fruit into rounds.
2. Arrange the slices of fruit (orange slice, grapefruit slice, etc.) on individual plates. Drizzle with honey and top wit 1 sprig of fresh mint.
Serves: 4
Total Prep Time: 10 Minutes
