When you have a database, spreadsheets or whatever may be the case you not only saving your time you’re helping to organize the church. You’re making it easier to access valuable church information when church administration needs it. Saving your time will benefit the church because then you will be more available to do other church secretarial duties.
I remember when I first started as the Church Secretary it was very overwhelming. But as time went on and different people (Chief Financial Officer) found ways to save my time and help me to get organized. Our CFO created church accounting spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel to help because I was doing ours on a paper ledger. Thank God for our CFO! Please feel free to visit her website at freechurchaccounting.com to get her free spreadsheets. She is the one who inspired me to build my website (freechurchforms.com).
