Free Noncash Contributions Form

Noncash contributions are accepted in the church.

One of the most effective ways to give to the Lord is to give to a church or ministry something of appreciated value (an asset that was bought at a low price that is now worth much more).

A written receipt should be issued for all noncash. Usually, your organization is not responsible for establishing the value of the non-cash items and should not include any value on the receipt.

However, a new tax law adopted in 2004 requires extra documentation from your organization for donations of qualified vehicles (including automobiles, boats, and airplanes).

The rules are pretty detailed. If you need the exact instructions, you can research it on the IRS site.

For free spreadsheets on regular contributions, accounting, and more see freechurchaccounting.com.

If your church receives noncash contributions, you will probably need one the following form...

If you need to modify this form, try the site: Free PDF Services. You can convert this Adobe file into a Word document free of charge and make the necessary changes.

Note: You will need Adobe Reader (the latest version is recommended) installed on your computer in order to save or open these forms.

You can get Adobe Reader free here (a new window will open so you can download it without leaving this page).

If you want to open the file in your browser window, just click on one of the links above. However, if you want to download the file to view later, then right-click on the link and choose "Save Target As" or "Save File As". Then select where you want to save the file on your hard drive.
