when should a secretary think of arranging meetings for the church ?
The Church Secretary should only arrange meetings when Administration has contacted her/him of the date/time of a specific meeting. Depending on your church, your Church Administration might include specific job duties such as:
- Reserving the meeting room and making any arrangements necessary for the meeting
- Sending memos to the church members required to attend with date and time of meeting
- Preparing agendas, etc. for the meeting
- Recording the minutes of the meeting
This just depends on your church and what your Church Administration has included in your Church Secretary job description duties.
