Easter Ideas - Follow Up
The Easter Ideas below for following up after Easter Sunday Service with your guests or visitors are available free to download and print 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at your convenience for your next Easter event at church or for your personal use at home.
Easter Sunday Service is a time when you have your most visitors or guests in church besides Christmas or revivals. We need to make sure that these visitors have a positive experience and that we follow up with them in some way to get them to want to come back and visit again or better yet become a member of your church.
In a few short weeks, Easter will be over until the next year. Immediately after Easter is the time to follow up with the Easter Sunday Service visitors or guests. The goal is to help them take that important step toward becoming consistent attendees.
If your visitors had a bad experience, it doesn't matter how many times you try to call them or write them they will not come back so be sure to meet and exceed their expectations on their very first visit. Be sure to create an irresistible environment and they will return. Examples: Having greeters at the door, easy parking access, umbrellas available in the unexpected event of rainfall, directional signage to every ministry in the church and more.
Extra preparation before Easter Sunday service is essential for such a very special day. It is one of highest church attendances of the year, and many of the visitors do not Jesus as their personal Savior. So take advantage of these Easter Follow Up Ideas below.
Easter Follow Up Ideas
- Love Jars - Fill any canning jars with brownie mix, attractively layered, sealed with a lid covered with seasonal fabric called "Love Jars". Make enough of the Love Jars to give every visitor a jar at your Easter Sunday church service. Then make a personal visit to the home of each of the visitors. Make it a nonthreatening, nonpreaching visit that simply states, "We are glad you came to visit us...we hope to see you again soon."
