The Labor Day Poems below are free to download and print for your special holiday at church or home.
Labor Day was founded to give workers and their families a day of festivity to enjoy. Workers of labor have more than earned this holiday to be able to spend it any way they want to even if it's just simply sitting at home in the rocking chair or sofa and just simply taking it easy.
Labor Day also is a sign that summer is coming to an end soon.
Celebrating Labor Day with poems are a great way for your church to be able to get everyone in the holiday spirit. You can also simply read these beautiful poems at home on Labor Day to get you and your family in the holiday spirit for Labor Day.
If a task is once begun,
Never leave it till it's done.
Be the labor great or small,
Do it well or not at all.
Labor Day is always celebrated in the United States and Canada on the1st Monday in September. Other countries such as Australia, Jamaica, New Zealand, Trinidad, and Tabago celebrate Labor Day also but on different days and months. In Australia, depending on where you live, Labor Day may be celebrated on the 1st Monday of October, the 1st or 2nd Monday in March, or the 1st Monday in May.
It's fun for the children and the adults to have these poems to remind us of the hard work and dedication we commit to this country and our families.
We have several poems below that you can pick and choose from, and you can also submit your own Labor Day Poem and share it on the bottom of this page.
Creating poems is a very special talent that God has given some of us and we need to share. If you have a poem you created for Labor Day and you want to share it then complete the submission below. I will then review the poem(s) and if they are within FreeChurchForms.com Christian standards I will then have them on a live web page for everyone to enjoy!
