Sunday School Job Descriptions
Sunday School job descriptions free for your Sunday School Director,
Sunday School Secretary/Assistant Secretary and Sunday School Teacher.
Sunday School job descriptions are a necessity to the church if you have Sunday School.
The purpose of the Sunday School teacher is to prepare the hearts
and minds and of the children to receive Jesus Christ as their Savior.
They have a great responsibility on their hands. They are
responsible for preparing the lessons, activities, maintaining their
spiritual life along with creating opportunity for salvation...the list
goes on and on.
The Sunday School Director has the great responsibility of overseeing all the Sunday School teachers.
They meet with the Pastor and staff regularly to evaluate the
work of the Sunday School and teachers. They set the agenda for Sunday
School Planning Team Meetings, lead in developing an effective
organization that facilitates spiritual transformation...the list goes
on and on.
To be organized in your Sunday School you need to have job descriptions for Sunday School church employees.
I have included the Sunday School Teacher and the Sunday School Director in the job
descriptions below. Normally the Sunday School Teacher reports to the Sunday School Director and the Sunday School Director reports to the Pastor and staff depending on your Sunday School policy and procedures. These job descriptions can be easily modified for your Sunday School employees or volunteers.
Also, I have included the Sunday School
Secretary/Assistant Secretary job description for those Sunday School
Directors who have a secretary to help them. They also report to the Sunday School Director to whom they are assisting.
If your church has Sunday School teachers and directors that are
church employees or volunteers you will probably need one or both of the following
